Screen-Free and Trash-Free! These awesome students and their parents picked up 5 plus bags of trash today near the Urbana library. Way to go! Thanks for giving back to your community.
The PTA Spring Book Exchange is Friday, May 31.
Students may start bringing in new or gently used books to the school on May 20. Each student will be allowed to bring 2 books home from the Exchange for summer reading. Students do not have to bring in books to participate, EVERY student will be able to bring home books.
THE POWER OF FAMILY PARTNERSHIPS SURVEY
Our PTA knows that a strong partnership among our families, school leaders, and community members is important to the success of our students and school. That’s why we are participating in the National PTA School of Excellence program, which grows partnerships between PTAs and schools to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being of all students. We need your help! Please take 5-10 minutes to reflect on your experience at this school and complete the attached survey (you may recognize it from the Fall, but please complete a new survey reflecting on your experience this year). Check the box that most accurately expresses how you feel about your experience. This survey is anonymous. Please follow the link below and complete the survey by May 15.

The UES PTA
The UES PTA is made up of a group of dedicated, hard working, positive UES parents and teachers. The PTA is you! Our mission is to promote the welfare of UES students by providing and facilitating academic, fun, and family-oriented activities that encourage learning and strengthen the overall community.
Whether you have 1 hour or 10 hours, whether you have time during the day or some time in the evening once in a while, we would love to have your help and support. Send us your contact info and we will reach out. Thank you!
The PTA depends on your support and membership. Your dues pay for our operating expenses and allow us to provide events and programs to the UES students and community.
